Chris is an editor based in Toronto with a passion for understanding human relationships. He enjoys character studies and makes use of his interest in sociology to construct scenes.
Chris’ film work includes the TIFF premiere films EASY LAND, PORCUPINE LAKE, CLEO and SILAS. The film LUBA won multiple awards at the Canadian Film Festival and earned Chris a best editing in feature film nomination at the Canadian Cinema Editors awards. Most recently he edited the films BANNED and KING BABY.
Chris’ television work includes the limited series ESSEX COUNTY, CSA winning and Emmy-nominated HOLLY HOBBIE and THE COMMUNIST’S DAUGHTER which won the esteemed Web Series World Cup.
Chris is a leader in the post-production community, currently serving as president of the Canadian Cinema Editors. He has served on multiple CCE committees, juries, advisory boards and industry panels. He was designated a full member of the CCE by a jury of his peers.
Chris enjoys photography, sailing and aging a small collection of wines.
